• I'm floving the surprises in this series. I did not see some of the twists coming. I love how Jonas surprised me and keeps adding so much anticipation for the series. SO many questions. Once it got going it was a wild ride. Corina continues to shine through her circumstances. I loved learning more about each of the guys and am so curious what happens with them. Cannot wait for the next book.
• Well written book without the porn of many of these Reverse Harem books. Good characters, strong plot, some action, lots of angst and cool world building. All up a good read whether you are looking for the Reverse Harem experience or just a good fantasy/adventure book.
• Buckle your seatbelts everyone...our little Blackbird aka Corina has a lot happen in this book. The blood bond begins with a few of the four Princes. How was she to know the overwhelming feelings that would come from it!! Of course the bonus here is it also messes with the guys LOL. Maybe this is what it will take to open their pompous minds and hearts! Maybe see things FINALLY as they are and not what they'd been brainwashed to believe? Cori and the guys begin to learn things about themselves, each other, and the world around them. However they also quickly learn there are people in the shadows working against them....and these particular shadows are oh so close. Danger Will Robinson, danger!!! Take the plunge and see how everyone works together, or not. Can the danger be revealed? There's a cliffhanger at the end, and I have an idea someone we meet will be a MASSIVE shocking revelation to one of the Prince's. I'm hoping we will learn more in the next book. These men have no clue. They thought Cori was being obstinate and rebellious? What they haven't clued into yet, but they WILL is how huge her heart is. Loyal to those she cares about, fierce, independent, and will fight to her death for what or who she believes in. Watch out, I think things are about to explode in the next book 😉💗.

  A slow-burn, reverse harem saga in which the MC, Cori, is a flawed, yet very strong & sassy female vigilante whose clandestine operation rescues fellow humans in a world where “Ianites” (aka vampires) have established a strict monarchy, with humans being at the very bottom of the food chain. The world is separated into 4 quadrants with each being ran by a King, and each king being replaced by their devastatingly handsome heirs in a year’s time. One of the 4 Kings is Emperor and rules over all. After a mission gone wrong lands Cori in the care of Julian (the heir to the Emperor’s throne), the heirs and their human “Doll” enter into a whirlwind of scandal, secrets & eventually an attempt to escape a punishment of death leads the four Heirs Julian, Salis, Levi & Roman to agree to a blood bond with Cori. However, the blood bond is not only completely uncharted territory, it opens up another Pandora’s box for the group, just when they thought that they’d remedied the bullseye target on their backs. And although Cori is undeniably attracted to the four Princes, she yearns for home and her family of rogue human friends that she had to leave behind unwillingly. • I wanted to like this book as I used to be a big Anthony fan before he delved into the racist cesspool.
  
  However, the book is highly unprofessional and littered with lazy typos starting from the opening paragraph “I was born in the City of Manhattan” - Manhattan is a borough.
  
  The content of this book is essentially rehashings of Old OA bits and it comes off as lazy and tired.
• There's certainly a book's worth of material regarding Ant's life and the OnA show, but this ain't it. It's poorly written and badly edited, but the main problem is that it's way too short. The whole transition to the dual show between XM and FM radio is handled in about two paragraphs, but it took a couple months for the negotiations that resulted in the "walkover", I know, I'm actually listening to the spring 2016 archived shows right now. You could write chapters on how all that played out. You could write 25 pages on the various Stalker Patti episodes, and where is Patrice Oneal in this book? Aside from Jimmy, Patrice was the most influential third mike on the show, and even had a broadcast of his own for awhile, the "Black Phllip" show. Where's Big A? Bobo? The deadly attacks on other radio personalities pursued by the Pests? And for a book that's suppose to tell all, there's precious little of "walking on Gregshells" in here. Try again.
• Started the book as soon as it was downloaded from my pre-order and couldn't put it down. Amazing. Shocked to find negative reviews from people who obviously never read it

• As a long time fan, I eagerly anticipated Anthony’s autobiography. He is a fantastic story teller and has lived an incredible life. This book is funny and amazing. It is an easy read and I highly recommend it.
• I think Anthony is one of the funniest guys on the planet and I had high hopes for this book. It started out that way describing his childhood and giving some humorous insight into how he turned out like he did. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. If you've been a fan and have been following this saga you will find that 90% of the rest of the content is just retreads of stories you've heard many times before. There are a couple of highlights such as the appearances on the late night shows and how that went, but I was really hoping for more detail into never-before-heard incidents or even just MORE info on what did happen. Everything is just glossed over in this brief book. The organization of stories also seems disjointed with different "controversies" thrown in at different times.
  
  Ultimately I don't know if this come together due to having (two?) co-writers or whether Anthony's humor just does not translate to the written word. Minor note, the book is a bit out of date, as it was finished before Artie was let go from the podcast. Would have been interesting to read about that.
  
  Still rooting for Anthony but the book didn't hit the mark.

"I love the Red River series of books. This one is no exception, the characters and storyline are great. If you have not read any of these books, please start with the first one, which is Ella and Cooper’s story, then go to Angelique and Doc Holloway in book two, continue with Miranda and Talmadge in book three and finally Lorenda (Langston’s sister) and Mitchell in book four. These couples have made Red River so darn popular; I know they will appear somehow in a new book.

Although book five did not have much on Ella and Cooper, which is my favorite couple of all, this book was still entertaining. Red River is a small town and like such, everyone knows everything, which creates for much needed drama and love. This story is about Langston and Sandra. Sandra is a woman trying to make it on her own especially after being shame as a teenager for taking the fall for something her no-good father did. Sandra was determined to start a new life where people did not know her but in order to do this meant to lose the only love she knew which was Langston. Langston is as stubborn as can be, so when asked by the council member to work closely on a project for the town with Sandra, he jumped at the opportunity. This is where the story gets good as Sandra is trying to create space between them and he is trying to close it. Will Sandra get away from her fears and allow love to engulf her as it should.

• It's In His Forever is a short read about Sandra who can't out live her past. She took the blame from something her father did when she was young. She secretly saw Langston Brooks for 10 years and when he wanted more from that relationship she broke it off.
  
  She's now running an International Sporting Evening in town and Langston is now a member of the event and using it as a way to get close to Sandra to show her that they are not over. Their chemistry is off the chart.
  
  Before the event Sandra was planning on leaving town and starting over elsewhere as she doesn't think she can ever get behind her past. Can Langston show her that life can be different or will he be hurt by her not telling him that she's leaving him behind.
• This is my first time reading this author and this is the 5th book into a series, but I don’t feel like that affected my ability to enjoy the story.
  
  This was a great, quick read that was just the perfect amount of sweet and sexy. The pace of the story was good and the characters were fantastic. I will absolutely be reading more from this author, especially the earlier books in this series.
• I’ve enjoyed all of the books in the Red River series. This one continues the series in a great way. You really get a sense of the long relationship between Langston and Sandra and are just rooting for redemption for her and for them to find their way as a couple. Looking forward to the next book in the series!
• My only disappointment with this one was that it wasn't longer!! I would've read a full length about Langston any day, but it was still great to catch up with some old favorites from past Red River books. This was a quick visit back to Red River, but it was still quirky with the same tempo as all of the past books. If you are a fan of series - Red River is for you!

  My Review
  
  If you are looking for a quickly paced, light, and amusing diversion with bits of small-town complications and angst mixed with a bit of steam, a lot of snow, and a HEA love story - then look no further. I have enjoyed all the lively installments of Shelly Alexander’s Red River Valley Series, each can be read as a standalone yet interconnect and revisit characters from past volumes.
• I love the Red River series of books. This one is no exception, the characters and storyline are great. If you have not read any of these books, please start with the first one, which is Ella and Cooper’s story, then go to Angelique and Doc Holloway in book two, continue with Miranda and Talmadge in book three and finally Lorenda (Langston’s sister) and Mitchell in book four. These couples have made Red River so darn popular; I know they will appear somehow in a new book.
  
  Although book five did not have much on Ella and Cooper, which is my favorite couple of all, this book was still entertaining. Red River is a small town and like such, everyone knows everything, which creates for much needed drama and love. This story is about Langston and Sandra. Sandra is a woman trying to make it on her own especially after being shame as a teenager for taking the fall for something her no-good father did. Sandra was determined to start a new life where people did not know her but in order to do this meant to lose the only love she knew which was Langston. Langston is as stubborn as can be, so when asked by the council member to work closely on a project for the town with Sandra, he jumped at the opportunity. This is where the story gets good as Sandra is trying to create space between them and he is trying to close it. Will Sandra get away from her fears and allow love to engulf her as it should.

• It's In His Forever is the short(ish) story about Sandra, a woman who has tried to prove herself to her little town Red River, after a bad rap when she was younger. And the crazy part about that was that it wasn't her, it was her father, but she's never been able to outrun it, so she's always felt like the town outcast. Now, she's running an international sporting event there in order to get the hell out finally, except for one complication. She's been secretly seeing Langston Brooks for years. He wants more, but she doesn't want her baggage to tarnish his reputation, so she's called it all off now, since she's leaving after the event. Langston, however, isn't letting her go without a fight though, and as he's forced his way onto working the event, she can't get away from him or their chemistry. Yeah, he's something else, and he's playing to win now. So will he be able to get her to admit that she can't live without him? To admit to everyone that they're together? And finally get her to stay? You'll just have to read it to find out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
